Wardrobes and sliding doors can be installed by yourself or one of our professionals.
How to Assemble Wardrobe Unit
This project involves fitting the Wardrobe unit into position.
Fitting wardrobe unit requires the following tools at hand:
1. A screwdriver to screw all required joints.
2. A cutter to trim the back board edge if required.
When your wardrobe unit arrives, they are flat-packed (assembly required) or half-assembled (drawers and hangers needed).
For half-assembled wardrobes.
Place your wardrobe unit into position carefully. Aligned into suitable position. Pay attention to where the hanger sections. Measure and cut hanger sections. Screw For flat pack please follow the instruction below to begin.
Assemble a wardrobe.
Open the package and place either the left or right side to start. placing the black screw to the plastic hold and the middle hold for wooden stick. Repeat the same process and screw it in position.
Repeat the same process above to screw black screw into position.
Repeat the same process for top part, middle part.
Place side and back board into position
Place back board into position, and then cover the side board to finish it. End
Finally, if your floor is not level, use packers, purchased from Bunnings, Mega 10 or Places Maker.
How to install Sliding Doors
This project involves fitting the tracks and putting the doors into position.
Fitting sliding wardrobe doors requires the following tools at hand:
- A saw to cut the tracks.
- Super Glue to secure the bottom track to surface
- A screwdriver to secure the top track to surface.
When your wardrobe doors arrive they will already be fitted with the running gear, and you will have a top and bottom track.
Fitting the top track.
From the back of your space, measure out your required depth and mark.
Measure your opening width along the ceiling, then transfer this measurement to the top track and cut to size.
Drill a hole in the top track 100m from each end and at approximately 500-600mm spaces in between.
Screw the top track to the ceiling.
Preparing the bottom track.
Repeat the same procedure of measuring and cutting with the bottom track.
Place the super glue to the bottom track and place into position. Wait til glue dries. Position one of the doors carefully into the top track and lower into the bottom track. The wheels may need to be pushed up to clear into the tracks.
Use an allen key to adjust the height of the wheels until the doors is vertical. Fit the rest of the doors and check of alignment. End.
